Below are the FM Consultancy of the Year shorlisted nomimees in brief:
Adeeb Group is playing the crucial role in FM consultancy by providing the feasibility study, technical information, plans and methodology on executing the required PPM, energy saving solution, corrective and reactive maintenance. Besides, the firm offers the clients with risk assessment study in order to stabilise the assets and enhance its value. Some of its major FM projects with consultancy are Al Bateen Tower, Business Avenue Tower, ADNOC, Nation Tower, Foundation Properties, Al Ain Tower and Hili Mall in Al Ain for FM & MEP maintenance, fit-out works and some key projects in Dubai for FM.
Cushman & Wakefield
C&W were commissioned to perform dilapidations surveys on 25 towers at KAFD (798,520 sqm NIA) which had been partly constructed and abandoned for many years. C&W assembled a team of 100 surveyors across 4 disciplines to undertake this massive task. Trained and overseen by RICS members from Cushmans, C&W developed a vast database of defects also priced BoQ’s per tower in line with NRM. Identifying more than 55,000 defects, C&W provided an 8,000-page report detailing the dilapidations and remediation required.
Gregory & Jones Consultants
GJC has developed a bespoke approach to FM consultancy which takes a complete stakeholder view to incorporate functions that influence decisions and recommendations. Its service offerings tackle operational challenges from early stages of project design through to the operations phase.Working with the region’s largest developers, GJC’s holistic consultancy approach has been utilised to stress test projects, providing transparency in costs, risk mitigation and understanding of operational strategies. GJC has developed an Asset Information Modelling (AIM) Strategy which has been integrated as part of the project BIM strategy to ensure FM considerations are captured throughout the developments’ life cycle.
Assignments range from short term one-off projects to ongoing (+4 year assignments) where Inspire Integrated Services' as a consultant has been embedded into the client team bridging the gap between construction and FM operations. The firm's works include undertaking desk top reviews of client provided information, undertaking diagnostics necessary to redefine problems, providing diagnosis recommendations, leading recommended solution, facilitating client learning & knowledge transfer, and permanently improving organisational effectiveness.
