Fighting talk: Emrill is ready to take on the law
Saeed Ahmed believes company is prepared for challenges of JOP Law
Emrill’s newly appointed pre-contract and commercial director, Saeed Ahmed, believes the company is well placed to survive the challenges expected by the introduction of the Jointly Owned Property (JOP) Law.
In an exclusive interview with fmME, Ahmed, who joined Emrill three months ago, explained that the organisation’s re-structure, which saw the placing of a new management team in the last six-eight months, has meant it is much better set up to meet the market challenges of the UAE.
“There is much more experience at management level and a wholly new culture,” said Saeed. “We are keen to drive empowerment through the business, ensuring that staff at all levels are empowered to make decisions for customers that are critical for us.”
He also expressed confidence in Emrill’s ability to offer good value FM, something that Owners Associations are focused on obtaining.
“OAs are keen to drive quality at cost; something which will suit Emrill as we’re recognised for delivering quality service. We’re now in a position where we have the opportunity to enter a lot more markets which were previously closed for us. It [JOP Law] has been bountiful for us,” he said.
