Cushman & Wakefield appoint head of FM for EMEA
FM head to lead development of Corporate Occupier & Investor Services
Cushman and Wakefield, the global property consultant, has announced the appointment of Andrew Smart as head of facilities management for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in London.
Smart has joined from Mace Macro where he worked as director since 2008. He has joined Cushman and Wakefield with over 20 years experience in the FM and property sector.
Michael Creamer, head of corporate occupier & investor services, EMEA, said: “facilities management is a core service line within our global offering for corporate occupiers and owners. Andrew is a market leader in his field and the depth of expertise and experience he brings to the role will help us achieve our strategic goal to develop an EMEA facilities management offering.”
Smart will be responsible for the operational performance of the business whilst developing its growth strategy and securing new contracts. One of his main aims is to lead the development of the Corporate Occupier and Investor Services division in Europe the Middle East and Africa. This was taken over by the company in 2011 from the previously named Corporate Occupier Solutions, acquired as a joint venture between Cushman and Wakefield and EC Harris in 2006.
