Philadelphia to host IFMA World Workplace 2012
October event set to feature tours of key San Antonio landmarks
The dates for IFMA’s World Workplace have been revealed, with the event set to take place in San Antonio, Philadelphia.
The annual IFMA conference is designed to bring together industry folk from business and government backgrounds, educators and exhibitors to analyse trends and new product’s impacting the built environment. This year’s event is set to take place at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Centre from 31 October to 2 November.
"World Workplace not only brings in thousands of attendees and an influx of new ideas to the cities that host the conference, but it also provides them with a robust economic impact," said IFMA President and CEO Tony Keane.
World Workplace features keynote speakers and session presentations; Sustainability Central, where companies offering environmental products and services can showcase their ranges; and instructor led courses for FM professionals seeking any of IFMA’s three credentials - the Certified Facility Manager, Facility Management Professional, or Sustainability Facility Professional.
This year’s event will also feature tours of the Alamo, the Pearl, Rackspace HQ and the Gonzales Convention Centre.
