Averda to showcase environmental services at GEF
Skip, vacuum tanker and jetting services among showcased collection
Averda’s selection of new commercial environmental services launched in Saudi Arabia will be showcased at the Gulf Environmental Forum at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah at the end of the month.
With new trucks for 2012, featuring up-to-date offerings including load cells, GPRS systems and potentially a billing system, the launch is designed to build a more capable fleet that can better servce Saudi communities, explained Camille Korban, MD of Averda Saudi.
"Averda has established itself as an environmental thought leader in the region, particularly in Saudi Arabia where we have operations in both Jeddah and Riyadh.
"By launching the new commercial environmental services and participating in GEF, we are reaffirming our commitment to pioneering the latest advancements that will drive the environmental sector in the region," said Camille Korban, MD of Averda Saudi.
The waste management operator’s current scope of operations in KSA include street cleaning; separate waste stream collections; waste transfer and diposal; source separated recyclable collections and recycled material consolidation; hazardous waste collection and disposal; medical waste collection and disposal; street cleaning services and confidential waste shredding.
"At GEF we will demonstrate our environmental solutions and create awareness of the initiatives that are making a difference to the way in which waste is viewed in the Kingdom and the region."
GEF will be held from 25 to 27 March at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah.
