Big Win: EFS wins two awards alongside Overall FM
Hat-trick: Company picks up MEP and Young FM award at annual event
EFS Facilities Services was named Overall FM company for a second consecutive year at yesterday’s fmME awards.
In a repeat showdown of last year, Imdaad was on the highly commended list with EFS Facilities Services going on to take the crown. Duserve, Khidmah and Emrill also shortlisted on the night.
After vowing at last year’s ceremony that it would “come back and be better,” the company has demonstrated revenue growth of more than 41%, retaining 95% of its clients.
The winner was described by the judges as being “committed to the development of the regional industry.”
“As I said last year, winning means an increased responsibility for us. It's great to be recognised as being engaged with serious FM issues. We plan to remain accountable and add more features to our services and be better in years to come. The FM awards certainly help us to identify those milestones bestowed on us by the industry,"said Tariq Chauhan, managing director, EFS Facilities Services.
With a string of high-profile clients under its belt including, Musanada, Dubai Real Estate Company, KAUST, The Pearl residential, Unilever and the Abu Dhabi Mall to name a few, the company is familiar with providing top-level FM services.
It hit the headlines again recently for completing the acquisition of Dalkia India.
The company’s Mahmoud Mawed picked up the award for Young FM of the Year and the company collected the award for MEP Company of the Year, with the judges noting it continually demonstrated good practice in MEP. Successful execution of MEP services for a local bank over a five-year period has proven the company understands the demand to deliver within an ever-changing business environment.
“We plan to continue to accomplish client retention over the next year and will do what we need to in order to develop talent to the next level. This will include knowledge initiatives and bringing technology to the forefront. Ultimately, we want our clients to come to us and tell us they have benefitted,” added Chauhan.
