MEFMA hosting four regional events on World FM Day
Celebrating FM success across the GCC region theme of World FM Day
MEFMA is set to host four regional events for World FM Day - in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The theme of the event is 'Celebrating Success', with companies encouraged to share latest achievements as FM professionals.
The attendees will get an opportunity to discuss and debate industry trends. At the end in Dubai, Alain Saliba, business development manager of Kharafi National, will give a talk on the significance and growth of FM in the Middle East.
Saleh Abdallah Al- Sharafi, operations director of Waseef Facility and Asset Management, and keynote speaker at the Qatar event said: "Since the market in the Middle East is in the development stage when compared to other regions, the objective of World FM Day and our involvement is to raise the awareness of facilities management in the field of real estate and development by discussing FM challenges and developments.”
“Facilities management is not just integral to the wider construction and real estate industry, it is a valuable service offered to end-users and the public who will actively examine the management and upkeep of properties before buying or renting. So understanding its impact on the built environment and the economy is critical and highlighting its importance will help ensure wider FM adoption and best practice," said H.E. Marwan Bin Ghulaita, CEO of RERA.
June 28, 2012 marks the fourth annual World FM Day. The regional events will be held at: The Bubble Lounge, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE; Sharq Village & Spa Hotel, Doha, Qatar; Kharafi National Offices, Kuwait, Kuwait City, Kuwait; and eSolutions Maximo Offices, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
