Second annual industry conference in February to share best practice
The Middle East's facilities management market is set to grow to a value of $9bn by 2014, according to new research by Frost & Sullivan.
The prospects for the industry are set to be debated at the Middle East Facility Management Association's second annual conference set to be held in Dubai in February.
The two-day conference will be held in The Address Hotel in Dubai Marina with conferences, seminars, courses and accredited training programmes also being offered.
Jamal Abdulla Lootah, President of MEFMA and CEO of Imdaad, said: “The Middle East facilities management industry remains vibrant and strongly positioned to take advantage of the wide-scale development initiatives being undertaken across the region.
"The growing focus on sustainable development and green building solutions is particularly crucial in highlighting the strategic importance of facilities managers in achieving the sustainability goals of society.
"The MEFMA Annual Conference provides a consolidating platform for industry players to address key issues and eliminate obstacles for growth."
Ali Al Suwaidi, MEFMA board member and Vice President of IDAMA, said the second edition of the conference would "strengthen its reputation as the definitive networking platform for the Middle East FM industry”.
