Imdaad launches new quality drive to boost service
Drive aims to reduce complaint rates and non-conformances
Imdaad has launched a new Quality Practice for its employees with a view to improving the quality of their work and thereby enhancing service excellence.
It is hoped this will further result in a reduction in complaint rates and non-conformances.
The new drive, which was launched in cooperation with the Environment, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ) Department, will be incorporated as an everyday practice at Imdaad, which will stress on the implementation of DRIFT, “Do It Right the First Time”.
Commenting on the programme, Jamal Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “The success of the practice will be measured through daily quality inspection, internal and external audits, standard operation procedure and quality management system.”
“Employees will be given regular inputs and tips to boost the DRIFT practice in their day-today work,” Lootah explained. “Each department and contract site will be closely monitored and it will reflect in positive observation in quality inspection, quality management system audits and quality surveillance and reports.”
According to Imdaad, a few employees from each department in the company will be nominated to form the Imdaad Quality Group.
The Group will undergo intensive training on putting together a quality management system, covering key topics such as ISO 9001:2008, control of documents and records, and auditor and auditee roles.
“We are confident that our efforts will not only benefit our employees and work processes, but also our clients and their properties,” Lootah said.
