Brought in close association with the Qurum Business Group, the 8th annual Facilities Management Middle East Awards is set to kick off the festivities on Wednesday 3 June 2015.
Nominations for the eighth annual FM awards have been extended a week and will now close on Wednesday 29 April 2015.
Hosted at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, the annual event is set to bring together the industry’s elite to discuss the latest developments and achievements of the GCC’s FM sector.
This year’s edition of the fmME Awards will feature 15 awards in total. This includes the Facilities Manager of the Year, Sustainability Initiative of the Year, and the highly coveted, Overall FM Company of the Year.
Additionally, fmME is introducing for the first time, the Technology Implementation of the Year. This award is bestowed on the company that has successfully incorporated technology into its infrastructure and core services.
Also returning to this year is the highly sought FM Executive of the Year award. Khaled Al Huraimel, group CEO of Bee’ah received the award in 2014 for his efforts in driving the environmental company’s ambitions to reach zero waste to landfill in Sharjah by 2015.
Commenting on the accolade back in fmME’s February edition’s award coverage, Al Huraimel said: “I consider the award to be a company-wide achievement and not an individual accolade. I was extremely proud of the award as it just added more credibility to Bee’ah’s achievements in 2014 and the rapid progress that we are making as an organisation.
He added: “The FM awards are a great platform to highlight the best performing organisations in the industry. It is well respected as it encourages those who strive to be the best in their fields to put their best foot forward year-after-year.”
