Flowcrete put to task at US beverage facility
The Alamo Beer Company deployed roughly 8,000 sq. ft. of Flowfresh HF, a cementitious urethane flooring system
Flowcrete, a global resin flooring manufacturer, announced that roughly 8,000 sq. ft. of its Flowfresh HF flooring range has been deployed at the launch of Alamo Beer Company's new brewing facility in Alamo City.
The $8million facility has utilised the cementitious urethane flooring system across its manufacturing areas.
In addition to boasting a high resiliency to thermal damage produced by heavy equipment, as well as damage from high foot traffic and spillage of liquids, Flowfresh boasts an anti-bacterial coating.
Installed by flooring applicator DLS Flooring, a Specialist Training in the Application of Resin (STAR) rated firm, the flooring systems achieved HACCP International Certification.
The international standard oversees the use of building materials and equipment for the food and beverage industry, focusing on reducing the threat of contamination incidents.
Furthermore, Flowfresh HF comes packaged with a silver-ion based additive that aids in complementing regular floor cleaning and hygiene practices. The range is also certified to the ISO 22196 standard, which monitors antibacterial effectiveness of plastics and non-porous surfaces.
The Flowcrete Group maintains manufacturing facilities across the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa. Part of the global group, Flowcrete Middle East FZCO maintains an office based in the Jebel Ali Free Zone of Dubai.
