CBFM announces partnership with 36 Strategies
The FM provider has worked closely with 36 Strategies over the last three months in order to improve its procurement and supply chain processes
Cofely Besix Facility Management (CBFM) recently signed a partnership agreement with 36 Strategies.
The procurement specialist will aid CBFM in improving the efficiency of its procurement and supply chain processes.
Over the last three months, the FM provider has incorporated 36 Strategies’ e-procurement platform, Insight Portal. In addition to saving the company time in completing supply requests, Insight Portal enables access to 36 Strategies’ range of 800 products across nine categories.
As per the agreement, the procurement specialist also reviewed CBFM’s supply database, identifying duplicates and overlapping supplies. The ‘clean up’ process assisted in removing the redundancies and improving efficiency in the procurement process.
Commenting on the partnership, Ian Harfield, CEO of Cofely Besix Facility Management, shared: “Since we have gone operational with 36 Strategies, CBFM has already realised significant improvement in lead time through more reliable deliveries. It has allowed us to reduce our inventory on site, and consequently improve our cash flow.”
Additionally, CBFM’s staff have also adopted the use of 36 Strategies’ Insight Mobile, a mobile app that complements its e-procurement platform. Utilising the app, managers are able to review purchasing requests as they arise.
“As the region’s leading facilities management company, we believe in doing things better, quicker and smarter, therefore our partnership with 36 Strategies is a perfect fit, and we look forward to achieving even further cost and time savings for our customers in the future,” concluded Harfield.
