Tadweer hosts delegation from Saudi Arabia
Hosted at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, the Centre of Waste Management welcomed a delegation from the Al Khobar Municipality of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Tadweer recently hosted a delegation from the Al Khobar Municipality Saudi Arabia at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The Centre of Waste Management met with various heads from Public Awareness, Collection and Transportation of Waste, Public Health Pest Control, Projects, and Customer Service departments.
The two entities met to discuss waste management strategies, particularly Tadweer’s Waste Master Plan, an awareness campaign on proper waste management in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
A variety of projects with waste collection and transportation, public health pest control methods, as well as procedures for granting permits to environmental service providers, were highlighted.
The discussion also touched upon the centre’s e-services programme, as well as its recycling capabilities.
The delegation from the Al Khobar Municipality were additionally given a tour of the headquarters’ Customer Service Center and Control Room. They also visited the electronic control room that oversaw fleet management of Tadweer’s collection and transport vehicles.
Commenting on the visit, Dr. Khalid Adbullah Al Saad, Deputy Mayor of Al Khobar Municipality in KSA shared: "the objective of the visit is to exchange and communicate knowledge from an Emirate successful in the environment field."
