DOW and DuPont announce appointments for DowDuPont
The appointments will go into effect following the completion of the proposed merger transaction in the second half of 2016.
DuPont and The Dow Chemical Company have announced the appointment of senior leadership roles for DowDuPont. The appointments are expected to go in to effect following the completion of the proposed merger transaction later this year.
It was previously announced that Andrew N. Liveris, chairman and chief executive officer of Dow, will become executive chairman of DowDuPont, while Edward D. Breen, chair and chief executive officer of DuPont, will hold the role of CEO.
Liveris will manage the company’s Material Science business, while Breen will oversee the Agriculture and Speciality Products division.
Additional appointments include the assignment of Howard Ugerleider as the company’s CFO, Stacy Fox and Charles J. Kalil as general counsel and special counsellor respectively, and Jim Fitterling as COO of DowDuPont’s Material Science business.
James C. Collins, Jr. will also take over as COO of DowDuPont’s Agriculture business, while Marc Doyle will serve as COO of for DowDuPont’s Specialty Products business.
