Sally Harrison brings more than a decade's experience in business development, programme management, and strategic development to Emrill
UAE-based FM provider Emrill Services has appointed a head of business development and work winning, it has been revealed.
Sally Harrison brings more than a decade's experience in business development, programme management, and strategic development to Emrill.
Harrison started her career with Carillion, Emrill's UK shareholder, in 2005, as regional manager of a government energy efficiency programme.
Accepted onto Carillion’s leadership programme in January 2016, Harrison undertook an international placement in Muscat, working on Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), before relocating to Dubai to assume the newly formed head of business development and work winning role at Emrill’s Dubai head office.
Remarking on Harrison's appointment, Alex Davies, managing director of Emrill, said: "Following a thorough selection process, Sally was identified as the strongest candidate to lead Emrill’s strategic business development and work winning department through its next stage of growth.
"She will be able to apply her expertise, her inter-personal and negotiation skills along with a fresh approach and strategic edge to drive forward the development aspect of our business which is currently achieving significant year on year growth."
Harrison holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from London Guildhall University and an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS in London, as well as a CIM Diploma in Marketing from North Tyneside College and an APM Certificate in Project Management.
She is also a member of the UK Chartered Institute of PR and British Institute of Facilities Management.
