IMSWARE launches unified soft services CAFM software
German-based Imsware has taken a unified approach to CAFM software which clamps all soft services in one module
German-based IMSWARE has taken a unified approach to CAFM software for soft services.
IMSWARE chief executive officer Midia Mikolai said that not enough attention is given to soft services, especially with the unification of reporting and data aggregation.
“We recently developed module for the soft services task management. Here all the soft services are clamped together because sometimes it is difficult to find one application that ties down everything – cleaning, landscaping, pest control, pool or security services,” Mikolai said indicating that the new module is easy to apply and use.
Elaborating more on the various CAFM modules Mikolai said: “We provide facilities management software, like other players in the market, and we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Where we distinguish ourselves is the ability to be extremely flexible, and ease of use with a simple user-interface.”
IMSWARE is also able to custom-develop modules for our clients. “For example, we have all the modules to manage buildings, parks or malls – right up to football stadiums. Our software works for both hard and soft services,” she added.
Mikolai said all of Imsware software modules comes with interactive live dashboards which are also customisable and adjustable according to customer preference.
She also added that the rise in automation and CAFM systems is a result of companies seeking better efficiencies.
“The need, and prominence, of automation has risen because companies have realised that it leads to less operational hassles. It in turn promotes efficiency.
“In addition, the use of smartphones and mobile applications is also a huge step in managing customer complaints, callouts and a means to report issues. Technology implementation also helps make the process a lot more transparent for both the FM Company and the tenants,” she said.
IMSWARE has been in the market for more than 30 years. “In 2012, we came to the UAE and we were involved in the process of winning a big tender. They have been using our solutions ever since, overall we have a few customers in Saudi Arabia - through a partner. We also have customers in Abu Dhabi and other parts of the GCC, for one of our clients we have just managed to make IoT which help our customer to be proactive and ahead of his competitors when it comes to service " Mikolai informed.
