Ejadah and Idama were present at the FM Expo that was recently held in Dubai.

Ejadah, the community solutions provider and Idama, its facilities management (FM) solutions arm has revealed the latest technological advancements being applied to its service offering.

The deployment of EVO4HSE drones and the application of data driven cost saving solutions have made a notable impact on the industry, the firm claimed in a press statement.

Idama said it is one of the first FM companies in the UAE to use the EVO4HSE drones in its goal to provide clients with premium services.

The drones will help in providing a 360° inspections to ensure availability, safety and reliability of the asset and bird’s eye view which help property owners / managers assess the sustainability of the business operations.

This year, technology achieved a saving of more than $9.37m (AED34.4m) in costs with the digitisation and optimisation of building environments.

Tarek Nizameddin, Senior Executive Director of Ejadah said: “Real Energy Data has also led to double the savings opportunities which was previously not detected using traditional Building Management Systems (BMS).

“Ejadah’s report finding also show 25-40% of energy saving opportunities are missed due to a faulty BMS.  We are rigorously investing in research and technology to provide our clients with sustainable and efficient solutions with the aim of their benefit as well for the greater good of the country and global environment.”

He also added that dashboards and meters alone aren’t going to generate savings and it’s by collaborating with site teams, using the right technology the right sort of benefits will be achieved.
