A Union Properties subsidiary, ServeU FM was scheduled to go public in the latter half of 2018 — but the firm hasn’t revealed plans about its IPO yet. With Saudi Arabia on the firm’s expansion plans, it currently holds a few key contracts in the UAE.
Firstly, it won back the contract to the Dubai Airport Engineering Projects (Dubai Airshow building) after losing it in the previous tender. The job includes more than 20 staff that to provide MEP and cleaning for the airshow buildings that host the DXB Airshow, the Middle East Business Aviation Show, and the Helicopter show.
ServeU also provides cleaning services to 56 of RTAs office buildings and bus terminals as well as all 886 bus shelters throughout the emirate of Dubai. ServeU also carries out pest control services at these sites for a contract length of three years.
ServeU has also been contracted by IMG Worlds of Adventure to provide both hard and soft services through different contracts. Additionally, ServeU is involved t all Fly Dubai branch and office sites — a contract that sees its staff work at more than 30 client locations.
Over the next 12 months Reader says the largest opportunity will come from the healthcare sector as the firm plans to offer a one-stop shop solution for healthcare facilities.
ServeU has also been at the forefront of technological applications. Just last month it selected FSI to provide its operations with a state-of-the-art CAFM system which is set to give the firm and its clients a complete transparency of cost and efficiencies. ServeU had also announced the deployment of automated cleaning robots from Avidbots which was said to enhance “operational productivity” in Dubai’s Motor City area.
