2018 marked the year where Adeeb Group’s operations went international as it opened shop in Seychelles to provide IFM services for a private client on the island nation. The contract is worth $2.7m which will see the Abu Dhabi-based firm provide services related to the HVAC system, electrical stream (power and lighting), plumbing and drainage system, telephone / data system / wi-fi, smart TV, water treatment and testing and several other specialised services.
Revenue for 2017-18 stood at $35.10m, falling slightly short of the firm’s projection of $35.5m. Projected revenues for 2018-19 are in the range of $38m to $43m. In terms of contracts, Adeeb continues to operate in a range of sector offering hard and soft services to the residential and commercial sectors.
Eng. Ansari says: “Currently UAE is the most important market and the only region of focus. We have, albeit, begun operating in Seychelles. We will have our expansion plans rolled out to other Middle East countries in the coming years as Saudi market picks up steam. Besides, we are getting various opportunity and proposals across the GCC, Jordon and other Asian countries.”
The firm has been contracted to provide FM services in various capacities to the Sheikh Khalifa Energy Complex (a five-year IFM contract). The firm is also providing its services at the Nation Tower, Adnoc Villas, Al Bateen Towe in Dubai, ADCB’s head office in Abu Dhabi and First Abu Dhabi Bank to name a few.
“We have been focusing on sustainability on all our projects and have implemented cost and resources savings solutions at some of our sites. Some of our major iconic commercial and residential properties have been re-awarded without tender by recognising our superior services as same as last year. Several major projects such as Dubai South Pulse residential expected completion in 2020, Adnoc Sheik Khalifa Energy Complex comprising five buildings,” Ansari adds.
