The year 2018 marked the first full year of Mark Graham being at the helm of operations for Mace Macro n this region. During this time the firm, known as one of the foremost FM consultancies, has worked towards developing its service delivery reputation in the market.
Revenues for financial year 2017-18 stood at $44.87m (AED164,822,823 — MENAP region). The projected revenues for 2018-19 have been fixed at $64.79m (AED237,994,867), 79% of which was in the bag as of October 2018. Macro has seen a 19% year-on-year rise in revenues. While profits for financial year 2017 grew by 3.5%.
Macro enhanced its reputation as an FM consultant getting involved in key projects in the UAE and KSA. Firstly, the firm was involved in developing FM services tender documents, tender process support to client, operational cost modelling, CAFM consultancy and mobilisation support for the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) — Abu Dhabi.
Macro also provided the Princess Noura University in Riyadh, KSA with consultancy and interim managing agent services whilst the tender process for a managing agent was undertaken. In a 2018 interview with fmME Graham spoke about key sectors that the firm has set its growth sights on — mainly the residential and educational sectors. Over the next 12 months Macro will be involved in a number of projects throughout the GCC.
