Stephen Fenn makes his debut in the list replacing Khidmah’s long-term chief executive Ryan Darnell, who decided to call it quits on the Middle East market and return to his native Australia earlier this year.
Fenn packs in four decades of working in real estate operation and maintenance and has embarked on his maiden stint in a regional FM company.
Apart from personnel changes at the top, Khidmah also had a change in ownership, majority stakeholder Aldar bought out all of the remaining stake to assume complete ownership of the FM outfit.
Khidmah won work from Sharjah Municipality where it was contracted to provide lifeguard services on Al Khan Beach 1 and 2. Apart from several other contracts, Khidmah was also awarded a contract by Aldar Properties to provide IFM Services for Shams Meema (Al Reem Island), Abu Dhabi.
“One of our primary strategic focuses for 2019 is growth, both locally and regionally. Our current portfolio includes more than 28,000 units within some of the UAE’s largest real estate developments as well as 80 FM contracts across various industries such as residential, commercial, education and healthcare. Strategic foresights for 2019 includes strong growth projections in current as well as new markets related to TFM, hence offering a wealth of opportunities,” Fenn says.
