Emrill engineers its way to fmME Award
Transguard IFS Engineering services adjudged as highly commended by jury
Emrill Facilities Services won the Engineering Service of the year award at the 2018 fmME Awards.
Emrill managed to optimise irrigation leakages by 70% in Dubai’s Jumeriah Golf Estates.
The FM company’s engineers also managed to reduce sewerage overflows by more than 50%, reduced average rectification time to under 24 hours and major improvement in community lake water quality acknowledged by its residents.
G Gopala Krishnan, operations director, Emrill said: “We owe this award to teamwork and a relentless pursuit to satisfy the requirement of residents, who’ve appreciated our response to and management of incidents.
“We focused on proactive maintenance during the last 12 months, and we aim to take this to the next level through further training and professional development. We dedicate this award to the entire Emrill team and our clients.”
Emrill has also invested heavily into specialist technological equipment including: Underground leak detection equipment and CCTV equipment (for sewage) which rapidly identifies the root cause of the problem. The unique programme features ultrasonic flow meter replacing regular electromagnetic pipe flow meters without cutting the GRP pipes (>450mm dia) eliminating high replacement/installation cost.
Emrill also deployed ‘high pressure telescopic jet pole’ for cleaning street lights instead of the traditional 4-ton vehicle/tripod that’s commonly used. This resulted in 30% saving of water consumption.
The award was presented by QBG FM's Sara Momtaz at the Waldorf Astoria in Dubai.
MJB Group was the Platinum Sponsors of the Event, along with Farnek and Mace Macro as the Gold Sponsors.
QBG FM, OSCO, Cofely Besix FM and CoreServ were the Silver Sponsors of the fmME Awards 2018.
