Emrill scores hat-trick at FM Awards 2018
Farnek comes in a close second in the coveted Overall FM Company of the Year Category
Emrill Services took home the highly sought-after Overall FM Company of the Year title at the 2018 FM Awards that were held in Dubai on May 8, 2018.
Emrill won the award for the third time in a row, and the fifth time in the history of the fmME Awards ceremony.
A jubilant Emrill, managing director Alex Davies said: “Winning this three times in a row is great. Every year when celebrate this award we put a star on our t-shirt and now we’re at five stars, so it’s three years in a row and we’ve won it five times during 11 years. For everyone at Emrill, this is a great achievement.
“I represent 8,000 people and represent the real work they do day in day out. I may get the luxury of picking up this award, but it is the great work that they do that really makes the difference. They are the unsung heroes of our business, and they are the unsung heroes of the UAE.”
Davies continued to heap praises on all Emrill staff and said winning the award for the third time signified more than 1,000 days of excellence.
“…but we deserved the award. When you look at our Young FM of the year, our Engineering Services of the Year, the seven nominations we received this year, it is an incredible achievement. There is a lot of competition out in the market; I like to think we can beat it but out biggest competition is making sure we better than we are today. That’s what got us here – being better tomorrow than we are today,” Davies expressed.
Emrill’s key financial achievements over the past five years include a revenue growth of 66% and a 48% increase in head count.
Its operational efforts also resulted in 47% decrease in contract penalties for Q4 2017.
