Imdaad wins Overall FM Company of the Year 2019
Dubai-founded FM company wins the honour for the second time
Dubai-based integrated facility management company Imdaad picked up the all-important Overall FM Company of the Year gong.
Imdaad Group CEO Jamal Abdulla Lootah described the win as an “award the firm was targeting for a while”.
Lootah previously described the market conditions as “challenging”, a trend which he says will continue over the next 12-18 months.
“Facing challenges has become a habit for us and the team at Imdaad, we live with it. But just like Dubai’s ambitions we always aim to be number 1 in everything we do. The year 2019 will continue to be difficult and as will 2020,” Lootah told fmME.
Lootah said the award represents how the company has grown and continued to thrive in these market conditions.
Throughout the last 12 months Imdaad has continued to win new contract. In April 2019, Imdaad signed a contract agreement with Port, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) Hotels to provide hard FM services at the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2).
A feature for Imdaad over the last couple of years has been its steady investment in its staff and technology. Lootah added: “Despite market conditions we will not stop investing in people and technology and try to retain our customers. We are here to exceed client expectations and a lot of new things are on the horizon for sure.”
Emrill Services came close to winning the award but had to be content with the Highly Commended trophy.
Emrill has won the Overall FM Company of the Year at the FM Awards five times in the past, and was the winner at the 2018 edition of the awards.
