Emrill’s Hariharan Arumugam wins young facilities manager award
Arumugam has been entrusted to manage projects for Emrill’s most valued clients
Emrill’s facilities manager Hariharan Arumugam, won the Young Facilities Manager of the Year 2020 award.
Arumugam has been entrusted to manage projects for Emrill’s most valued clients. One of the judges said that Arumugam was recognised for his discipline, dedication and proactive approach towards improving conventional FM services.
Arumugam said: “I’m so proud to receive this award. I feel more motivated than ever to continue my professional development and work towards my next challenge. I strongly believe that no individual works alone though, so I would also like to dedicate this win to my team and my mentors, who have provided guidance and support.
“Emrill has given me the opportunity to grow. As a company, we are always innovating, adapting and evolving, and I work within a culture that embraces change. This has helped me to achieve my goals and continuously challenge myself to improve and find more efficient ways of delivering results to our clients.”
This year there were two highly commended winners.
The first highly commended went to Thomas Friswell from Khansaheb FM who implemented a process-driven environment encouraging consistency in operations and identified efficiencies to improve productivity and performance.
Friswell said: “Khansaheb promotes an environment that encourages teamwork and personal development. I am very fortunate to have extremely supportive colleagues who will work with me to ensure as a team we achieve the high expectations we set ourselves as a business as well as exceeding the expectations of our clients.”
The second highly commended went to Zohaib Azhar from Farnek who has successfully and consistently managed the daily FM operations of his clients and created an environment of continuous improvement. Zohaib has been responsible for winning and adding a range of new clients to Farnek’s roster.
