Universal Voltas focuses on optimising CAFM systems

At a panel discussion during the FM Expo, Universal Voltas general manager Dilip Kumar spoke about the importance of data and how it’s successfully managed to leverage efficiencies for its clients. He said: “We use our CAFM system in conjunction with our client, so we receive complaints and close them together. But beyond we addressed the disconnect between our ERP systems and CAFM process.
Similarly, on the client’s side there are different systems which might not communicate with the CAFM system. We have gone digital in pockets, but we have looked at integrating all the data.”
