Dubai Frame launches new e-Ticketing system
Tourism attraction has welcomed more than 466,000 visitors since opening at the begning of the year
The operations of the Dubai Frame will be managed by Dubai Municipality as the authority launched an e-ticketing system last week.
The formal announcement was made by Dawood Abdulrahman Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
Visitors will be able to book their tickets on the new website and smartphone application.
The tourism project by Dubai Municipality has received more than 466,000 visitors since its opening on the beginning of this year.
Al Hajiri said that the website “will facilitate the process of booking online without having to bear the burden of traffic congestions and fluctuations in weather conditions”.
Mohammed Mubarak Al Mutaiwei, assistant director general of Dubai Municipality for Communications and Community Sector, said: “The launch of the new Dubai Frame portal is in line with Dubai Smart Initiative's plans to enable Dubai residents to access all the city's facilities using smart electronic systems, including the Frame.”
