Emrill debuts pavement cleaner in Downtown Dubai
New eco-friendly pavement cleaner does away with chemicals, as Emrill looks to use the same at its other sites
Emrill Services has unveiled the latest addition to its cleaning services line-up – the CMAR NC 286R hot water pavement cleaner with suction.
Emrill says this is the first of its kind cleaner in the UAE, which is supplied by Viking Gulf.
Emrill operations director, Gopalakrishnan said: “Emrill is always on the lookout for the latest technology and equipment that will enable us to further improve and exceed client expectations, while achieving cost-savings for them.
The CMAR NC 286R uses high-pressure hot water to remove grease, dirt, sand and chewing gum from outdoor surfaces.
Dirty water is extracted via a suction system, which leaves the area clean and dry.
David Nice, general manager of operations at Emrill said that initiatives such as these help in carbon neutrality and sustainability.
Through a combination of high-pressure and heat, the CMAR cleaner doesn’t require any additional chemicals to perform its task.
“Since the CMAR cleans in a single run, the need for rinsing has also been eliminated, resulting in a 30% reduction in water used,” he said.
The CMAR pavement cleaner will be located in Downtown Dubai, predominantly within the Downtown Master Community but will also service other external areas and car parks in the Downtown area.
Nice concluded: “We have plans to add additional CMAR pavement cleaners to the fleet in the future to service other master communities, such as Dubai Marina.”
