Dusty weather conditions at the start of 2019 contributes to demand of rope access cleaning companies
UAE-based facilities management firm Concordia’s rope cleaning business has shot up by 38% for Q1 2019.
In the last four months Concordia secured multiple new façade cleaning / rope access contracts such as the D1 tower, Palm Couture, Trident Bayside Residence, all three Armada buildings, Concorde Tower, Gold Tower and Mazaya AA1 to name a few.
The changing weather, the frequent sand storms and the modern architecture of buildings are some of the many challenges faced by the façade cleaning teams in the UAE, said a company statement.
Tamer Bishay, business development manager, Concordia said: “We are proud of the increased demand for our façade cleaning services which is a reflection of the quality service we have been delivering.”
Sasi Kumar, operations manager, Concordia added: “The teams have been working hard on some of the most complicated buildings in the UAE which has given confidence to end users to use our services.”
Concordia’s rope access technicians are IRATA certified (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association).
All operations are supervised by Level 3 technicians who continuously inspect the equipment to guarantee the staff’s safety while proper protection is being used for the buildings cladding and structure as well.
