Cavendish Maxwell appoints project and building consultant
Benjamin Walker joins the firm as associate partner
Cavendish Maxwell has appointed Benjamin Walker as associate partner.
Walker will be responsible for day-to-day management of the project and building consultancy team supporting head of department, Craig Ross, to further develop the business.
Walker brings more than 13 years of building surveying and project management experience gained in both the UK and more latterly in New Zealand.
Prior to joining Cavendish Maxwell, he was heading up the building consultancy department for the New Zealand arm of a global real estate firm.
During his time in New Zealand he was instrumental in providing advice to top tier international clients on some of the largest acquisitions in both New Zealand and Australia.
Ross said: “It’s an exciting time for Ben to join as we are finding an increasing demand for our core building surveying services both in the local and international market and will therefore look to establish him as a key leader in the team and also the wider building surveying profession in the Middle East as a qualified RICS APC Assessor".
Speaking about his appointment Walker said: “The company has secured some fantastic instructions and been involved with some high-profile projects and I thoroughly look forward to adding value to an already thriving team. Cavendish Maxwell has an excellent reputation in the GCC and I'm excited to be a part of the journey".
