Dubai Municipality to relocate 4,000 workers to new Al Warsan accommodation
Al Hajiri honors employees on International Worker’s Day
Dubai Municipality (DM) will relocate more than 4,000 of its workers to new homes that are said to meet international housing standards in Al Warsan during the course of 2018.
On the occasion of International Worker’s Day, Dawood Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality honoured the workers of the municipality who were chosen by their departments for their excellence and commitment to the rules and regulations of the authority.
The ceremony was also attended by the assistants to the DG, directors of departments and heads of sections.
Every year, Dubai Municipality participates in the International Worker’s Day celebrations in recognition and appreciation of the achievements and the active and pioneering role on May 1.
Khalid Hassan Ali Al Marzouqi, Deputy Chairman of the International Worker’s Day Team said the celebration of this year's workers' day is taking place in an atmosphere marked by the important steps taken by the UAE in general and the Emirate of Dubai for the benefit of its workers.
Throughout the year, DM conducts activities for its workers, undertaking recreation trips and sending several of them on religious pilgrimages as well.
