Sanipex looking to make a dent in the FM sector
Aquazone, a mid-level brand launched by Sanipex a few years ago, is making a push to operate in the mid-level segment and work closely with the FM sector.
Calum Stewart, retail director, Sanipex Group said: “Sanipex introduced its Aquazone brand close to five years ago in the mid-level commercial markets. Mainly focusing on public washrooms and over the last few years we realised there was another major sub-sector volume market. The Bagnodesign product was perceived as high-end, so we have developed a full range of Aquazone.” Apart from public washroom, Aquazone will offer sanitary ware products, mixers including a wide offering of accessories.
Stewart spoke about the competition and the nature of the market Aquazone will compete in. He said: “There are a lot of operators in the mid-level market, and it’s a bit disorganised. Meanwhile companies such as RAK Ceramics are well recognised in the market, and beyond them there aren’t any strong brands in the space Aqauzone will operate. In comparison there are a lot of recognised brands in the higher end of the market.”
Stewart forecasts the success of Aquazone products will be in the brand promise and recognition of its Bagnodesign products that are well established across the GCC.
Sanipex won the contract to supply its products for the Midfield Terminal at the Abu Dhabi Airport. “We are doing a lot more shopping centres, commercial buildings and we are also breaking into the residential market as well.”
Sanipex has also launched a Click and Collect service for its entire range of bathware products for collection and delivery in UAE. The products will be made available in just one hour after placing the order to a maximum of 48 hours, depending on the kind of products purchased.
